Location: This position is within the Technology Acquisition Center in Eatontown, NJ.

Competitive Merit Promotion:

Duties

Major duties for this position include: 

·         Providing final review of contracting actions to ensure procurement considerations for Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) related programs (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Minority-Owned Businesses, Woman-Owned Businesses, etc.).

·         Serving as organization representative in meetings of solicitation review boards to ensure the interests and capabilities of OSDBU business programs or groups are considered in the decision making process.

·         Overseeing implementation of OSBDU programs that are emphasized by executive orders, higher headquarters directions, etc.

·         Assisting program and project managers during the early phase of the development cycle by recommending ways and means of using OSDBU-type businesses as cost-effective alternatives.

·         Serving as technical advisor and consultant to top management regarding OSDBU-related matters.
