SUMMARY OF DUTIES:  If applicants’ desire, a copy of the Position Description (PD) can be obtained from the HRO.  A brief statement of duties from PD No. __D1255000__.  This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters—State, Logistics Directorate (J-4/G-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.  The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 

Applicant must possess the experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of:
-Planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of manpower, machines, and materials in the fabrication or repair of equipment and supply items by mechanical production methods.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Applicant must possess 24 months of specialized experience, education or training in:
- Preparing job or work orders;
- Scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility;
- Following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes;
- Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment; AND
- Monitoring job job order status, work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.

 


REQUIREMENTS

PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYISCIAL: Prior to full-time employment, selected individual must complete and pass a pre-placement physical examination.

 

DIRECT DEPOSIT PARTICIPATION: Selectee will be required to participate in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT) program as a condition of employment.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:  Selectee is subject to attaining and maintaining a security clearance as required by the position.
