Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee facilities operations services, provide guidance to employees regarding facilities operations, and determine strategic objectives for facilities.

Work requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, working in cramped positions, and climbing.
Due to the nature of the equipment used to operate building machinery and systems, potentially harmful products may be released by malfunctions of the machinery or systems.
Incumbent may be exposed to dangerous situations such as flooding, building systems malfunctioning, power outages, and substances such as fire retardant chemicals, raw sewage, grease trap contents, or broken glass.
