Work involved in rebuilding,
overhauling, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating,
aligning and maintaining integrated electronic systems. Analyzes and evaluates complete system
operation using a variety of general and specific test equipment, self-test and
self-calibration computer programs and/or technical data containing schematic
diagrams, signal flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, test procedures, program
information and mathematical formulas.
Accomplishes checks, testing, repair, inspection, modification,
programming, reprogramming, mating, adjusting, alignment and analyzing of
electronic integrated systems.

or training which demonstrates that you have the ability to organize
assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for
specific jobs; able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production
records, work records and reports
Must possess at
least 18 months experience or training in utilizing principles, basic functions
and application of theory of electronic integrated systems equipment;
experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for
malfunctions in electronic integrated systems equipment; experience in making
mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating
equipment; experience in using a wide variety of test, measurement, and
diagnostic equipment (TMDE); experience which demonstrates the ability to interpret
technical manuals, specifications, and publications AND In addition to the journeyman level knowledge; do
you possess at least 36 months experience which demonstrates the ability to
plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel;
experience which required the review of work requirements and establish
priorities to meet deadlines; experience that provided knowledge of various
lines of work performed by this function; experience which demonstrates the
ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by
the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and
knowledge of shop processes; experience in adapting existing equipment and
techniques to new situations.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a
compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of
applicants military grade cannot exceed the maximum military grade authorized.

specific grade) if selected for this position.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
- Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
- The Selected applicant must complete a Declaration of Federal Employment: prior to the appointment date.
- Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
- Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP).
- Relocation expenses will not be paid by the Government unless noted in the Announcement.
- Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a Technician.
- Veterans preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).
