PEO-Ground Combat Systems execute lifecycle management of the worlds best ground combat systems in a collaborative learning environment by developing, acquiring, and supporting modernized and affordable systems with common integrated capabilities, always focusing on the needs of the Joint Warfighter.
Who May Apply:
You will serve as Program Officer for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence Survival and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) reporting to the Director of Technical Management. Responsible for performing continuous management and review of cost, schedule, performance and supportability ofprojects/programs/products as they transition through the acquisition life from research, development, production, fielding and sustainment. Manages the systems design, development,acquisition, planning and programming to include engineering, installation, test, and transition and support of fielded systems. Interfaces and works with the other federal agencies and military services, Office of Secretary of Defense (Acquisition,Technology and Logistics), HQDA, PEOs and all Army MACOMs. Leads a team comprised of technical personnel engaged in the planning, development, engineering, production, installation and testing of assigned C4I equipment and software.
