Additional Salary Information: Salary will be set within the range based on qualifications, experience and equivalent peer salaries in the organization. Locality pay will be added to the base, not to exceed the current statutory pay cap of $179,700.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) - In accordance with applicable FAA Travel regulations, full relocation benefits will be paid (actual expenses).

Duties

The FAA seeks an experienced executive to fill the position of Program Director for the Logistics Center within the Office of Finance and Management, Regions & Center Operations. The Program Director is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the Logistics Center including FAA supply chain management. Serves as a senior advisor to the Director and Deputy Director of the Mike Monroney Aeronuatical Center on all matters concerning management of internal operations.

He/she has full operating responsibility to ensure compliance with technical and engineering standards, procedures, and policies. Oversees supply chain management and ensures operations are carried out including required maintenance, repair and overhaul of National Airspace System (NAS) assets including repair fabrication and overhaul of electronic equipment and ground based systems. Leads a wide variety of complex supply support operations including inventory control, traffic management, engineering and technical shop, special testing services, national materical management policy and systems, performance and productivity standards, and additional support services. Responsible for the overall management and direction on matters between the Director and Deputy Director, regional and field installations, tenant organizations, and other agencies, takes appropriate action as required. Represents the Director and Deputy Director on matters pertaining to labor relations and at general policy and procedural meetings held by the Aeronautical Center when they relate to the material functions of the agency.
