This is a two year position that requires experience working on studies examining the association between post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and personality disorders (PDs). The psychologist should be trained and qualified to administer the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5(CAPS-5), be proficient in using SPSS and MPlus statistical programs to analyze datasets and perform analyses and have knowledge of current research findings related to the treatment of patients diagnosed with PTSD and comorbid personality disorders. Also necessary is competence in the preparation, writing and publishing of manuscripts within the domain of PTSD and personality disorders as well as experience providing psychotherapy to veterans with PTSD and personality disorders with the provision of trauma-focused therapy, including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure.

WORK SCHEDULE :   Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30p.m.


NOTE :   This position is not to exceed two years.

NOTE :   This position is an AFGE Bargaining Unit position.

NOTE :   This position is covered by locality-based comparability pay.

NOTE :   Travel and relocation expenses are not authorized.

NOTE :   Selectee may be required to work at any Boston Healthcare System campus, as needed.

NOTE :   Time-in-Grade Restriction – Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. The grade may have been in any occupation but must have been held in the Federal service.
