You must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or qualifying pay band or other pay systems in the Federal service which has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this position. Typically we would find this work experience within a military personnel function, performing duties related to career development. Substitution of Education for Experience: Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or OR LL.B or J.D., in a relevant field of study (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or Organization Management). This education demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Human Resources Specialist and is related to the duties of this position. If you are qualifying based on education, an official copy of your college transcripts is required.
Combining Experience and Education: Equivalent combinations or successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Position may or will require incumbent to: (1) Fly in military and/or commercial aircraft in the performance of temporary duty (TDY) assignments. (2) Incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. (3) Incumbent's regular assignments are primarily ART duties: however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. (4) Obtain and retain applicable security clearance. (5) This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Incumbent will subject to pre-employment and random Drug Testing as a condition of employment. (6) May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty. (7) The work is primarily sedentary, although some physical effort or exertion may be required in the performance of duties.
