The Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) is currently accepting applications under examining authority of 10 U.S.C., Section 2164. This position is a Management Analyst at the DoDEA Records Center located at Fort Benning, Georgia with the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS). .
Applicants may be hired at either the AD-07 or AD-09 level. Those selected for AD-07 level may be promoted to AD-09 at the end of one year; although promotion is not guaranteed.

Subject matter expert for the maintenance and disposition of administrative and student records. The primary purpose of this position is to develop comprehensive policies and procedures to preserve administrative and student records. Additionally, this position is charged to protect information about students and their families from improper release, while satisfying the need for school officials to make sound management, instructional, and service decisions. Duties include planning, performing, coordinating, and/or supervising a wide variety of transactions in the areas of DoDEA administrative and student records. The incumbent will conduct training sessions at all DoDEA locations in accordance with regulatory guidance. Perform management studies to determine problem areas in all fields of records management. Plans and develops guidelines for DoDEA wide records management system for the storage and retrieval of student records and administrative files. Oversees internal control procedures to safeguard against fraud, waste, and abuse in all areas of assigned responsibility. Extracts and compiles statistical and/or other pertinent material from files, logs, data processing, or other sources and reports on information gathered. Develops methods for automating internal administrative reports, considering the interrelationship of reports and multiple use data. Procures necessary office supplies, equipment, services and furniture.
