This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Office of New Drugs, Immeidate Office, Regulatory Affairs Team.

 

 

Duties

Serves as program manager of regulatory initiatives/program areas in conjunction with members of the Regulatory Affairs Team.  Responsible for management activities of program areas, including strategic planning, initiating policy development, conducting and facilitating meetings, and preparing issue-based agendas and official records of meetings.  Monitors and reports status of all activities through interaction with project participants and, if required, supervisors and directors.  Assures timely resolution of regulatory conflicts or problems to avoid delays in achieving goals. Fosters cooperation, communication and facilitates an open and honest exchange of ideas; raising different perspective when appropriate.  Acts as a driving force for the timely completion of project activities and attainment of project objectives within established project plans and performance goals set by the team. Identifies and coordinates the resolution of conflicting resource needs, availability, and scheduling.
