Starting Salary:$61,245 PA
Salary Range: $61,245- $79,615

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatibility assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

AREA I: All Excepted Technicians of the 177th Fighter Wing (FW)
AREA II: All Excepted Technicians of the New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG)
AREA III: All members of the NJANG or those eligible for membership
If a New Jersey Army National Guard (NJARNG) member is selected, the person must transfer to the NJANG
If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour.

DUTIES: Coordinates and ensures timely development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance plans, flying schedules, and documentation of historical data. Supervises and directs utilization of branch personnel. reviews and coordinates requests for cannibalization and local manufacture of material. Interacts with maintenance activities and the training management function to establish a maintenance training program that ensures all personnel are qualified for their jobs, and that a balance of skills is maintained within the maintenance complex. Allocates, assigns, and replaces vehicles within the maintenance complex according to need.
