The FRTIB is an Independent Federal Agency responsible for administering the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). The FRTIB is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as the Supervisory Records Management Specialist with responsibility to supervise, direct, and oversee a subordinate staff who is responsible for identifying, inventorying, and providing for the storage and disposal of records held by the Board at the headquarters location and at the designated contractors providing TSP participant and record keeping services for the Board.
The major duties of the position are:
- Provides technical expertise, advice, guidance, and recommendations to senior management and Agency staff, on all aspects of records management functions, policies, and requirements.
- Leads, plans, coordinates, reviews, and manages the Agency records management functions for both TSP mission and FRTIB administrative records.
- Directs a staff of records management specialists responsible for the implementation of the records management program.
- Keeps abreast of all new Federal laws and regulations that impact the Boards records management program.
