NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:  This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the New York Air National Guard.  Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.  Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. 

 

 

This position is located in the Fuels Management Flight, within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing.

 

 

OPEN AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: NATIONWIDE

ONBOARD:  ALL  MILITARY TECHNICIANS IN THE NEW YORK AIR AND ARMY NATIONAL GUARD. ALL MILITARY MEMBERS IN THE AIR AND ARMY NATIONAL GUARD (INCLUDING AGRS).

Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to operate and maintain a fuel distribution system that includes a fuels laboratory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service station, fuels information service center, mobile fueling operations, and to manage all accounts for missile propellants, aviation fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.
