ARKANSAS NATIONAL GUARD
**Position based upon availability of funds, not to exceed completion of project or one year (whichever occurs first). This appointment may be extended up to a maximum of one additional year for a total of two years upon approval of the Human Resources Office.
MILITARY GRADE REQUIREMENT: Enlisted, Not to Exceed TSgt/E-6

DUTY LOCATION: 189th Airlift Wing (AW), Arkansas Air National Guard (AR ANG), Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB), Arkansas
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: This is an Excepted (Dual Status Military Technician) position that requires active membership in a compatible skill in the Arkansas Air National Guard. Selectee must be a member of the Arkansas Air National Guard and be assigned to the 189th AW in a compatible military position in Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 3M0X1. Must become compatible in the AFSC within 12 months of appointment. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

The selectee performs general administrative tasks such as record keeping, requisitioning, contracting for sanitation, etc. Reviews and implements pertinent regulations and directives.Exercises sound judgment and innovative approaches to creative problem solving in the absence of specific guidance or related directives where necessary.Analyzes higher headquarters requirements and Command needs. Manages the administration of lodging support for eligible members performing in an official military capacity (i.e. Unit Training Assemblies (UTAs) and Split Unit Training Assemblies(SUTAs), deployments, home station training, incoming deployment or evaluation teams, staff assistance teams, visiting Very Important Persons (VIPs) and transit crews). Coordinates the necessary unit level Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) activities. Manages the maintenance of office files,reports, correspondence, directives and regulations. Oversees the verification of contract requirements, invoicing and validation of contract completion requirements. Administers the Funeral Honors and Survivor Assistance Programs.Oversees the development, management and implementation of a variety of safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance as mandated by federal, state and local agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA). Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 12 months experience evaluating and determining regulatory compliance.Experience using guidelines, methods, precedents and techniques applicable to the specific programs or phases relative to the position.
PLACEMENT FACTORS: Applicants should demonstrate through prior experience, education and training the following: (1) Knowledge of services, readiness management,Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS) and associated programs in order to analyze and plan adequate mission support. (2) Knowledge of principles, concepts and methodologies to accomplish mission requirements. (3) Knowledge and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. (4) Knowledge and skill in using spreadsheets, databases, word processing software and computer systems in support of assigned programs. (5) Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation techniques to the identification,consideration and resolution of program related issues or problems. (6) Completion of appropriate technical school/Career Development Courses(CDCs).
