The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is the central facility for the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of scientific and technical information (STI) supporting the Research and Engineering (R&E) needs of the Department of Defense (DoD).

DTIC provides leading edge information services and products to the DoD community and is a recognized leader in information and knowledge management innovations.


-Provides program analysis assistance to the Information Analysis Center (IAC) Program Manager in developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the execution of DoD policies, plans, program and procedures, related to the DoD-funded IAC Program. 
-Analyzes and evaluates the operational and management plans submitted for assigned IAC contracts and technical area tasks added to those contracts. 
-Drafts statements of work, evaluation criteria, reporting requirements and other procurement documents for assigned IACs. 
-Analyzes and evaluates the factors which require coverage in regard to expressed DoD R&D technical information support requirements. 
-Conducts on-site reviews of IAC operations to determine compliance with technical contractual requirements, to assist the Program Manager to assess overall performance and operations, and to obtain information required for development of program guidance, goals and objectives.
