This position is located at the United States Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, MD as part of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program. The goal of this program is to provide immediate response and appropriate support for all victims of sexual assault in the United States Naval Academy community. The program is designed to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through a comprehensive policy that centers on leadership dignity and respect, bystander intervention, awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting, and accountability.
- Responsible for the execution of the response plan under the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) for the United States Naval Academy's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO).
- Provide direct victim support and case management, as well as continuously advising the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator regarding best practices in sexual assault victim response by using subject matter expertise.
- Manage the United States Naval Academy's collateral-duty victim advocacy program, which includes activity management of the volunteer force that includes active duty members and civilians.
