This position is located at a regional office in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The regional office provides oversight and assistance to correctional facilities such as penitentiaries, high security/administrative maximum facilities, major medical centers, correctional complexes with shared facilities, and other administrative, minimum, low, and medium security level institutions.
The incumbent will serve as a secretary, providing support to one or more Regional Administrators as well as the Regional Director’s Office. The incumbent performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties which are auxiliary to the work of the organization. The incumbent is expected to apply a working knowledge of policies and procedures as related to the office and the institutions in their region.
