Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise as Supervisory Electrical Engineer. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.  As a Supervisory Electrical Engineer, the incumbent plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, performs and facilitates the myriad of electrical engineering activities necessary for the capital improvement program for the Grand Coulee Power Office.

Relocation expenses are authorized with the exception of the Guaranteed Home Sale Provision. First-post-of-Duty relocation expenses are authorized for new appointment or reinstatement eligibles.

Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval. 

Duties

As the supervisor of the Electrical Engineering branch you will ultimately: - ensure that the organization's plan, mission, vision, and values are integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services. - communicate assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. - provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures and assist the team and/or members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution. - Identify, distribute, and balance workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow and skill level, and making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment.
