This position is located in the Department of Family Medicine, E. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University (USU), in the Department of Defense.  You will serve as the Administrative Specialist and will be responsible for performing a variety of technical, advisory, and administrative duties and functions related to the School of Medicines family medicine programs, particularly the Third and Fourth Year Clerkship and Sports Medicine Fellowships.

 

 

Duties

As a Program Support Specialist your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Participates in the revision or formulation of procedures governing administrative aspects of the operation of third and fourth year clerkships.
  • Performs a variety of special projects or assignments for each of the three program heads.
  • Coordinates the assignments for the sports medicine fellowship participants.
  • Establishes a personal relationship with and serves as a liaison with all site coordinators.
  • Gathers and coordinates any recurring and ad hoc reports relating to third and fourth year clerkships and sports medicine fellowships.
