This position is an Area Technician assigned to the Henderson Area Office in Henderson, Texas.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is a permanent part-time position, 20 hours per week. The hourly rate range for GS-05 level is $15.00 - $19.50.

  • Provides information and assistance to borrowers, lenders, and others concerning eligibility and other requirements for loan and grant programs.
  • Meets with applicants to review their financial situations.
  • Performs a range of office management duties, general clerical functions, and limited loan processing and servicing activities.

For GS-05: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04; or its non-Federal equivalent OR bachelor's graduate degree or 4 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a combination of education as described and specialized experience

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:

Category rating will be used for this vacancy. We will review your resume and transcript (if required) to ensure you meet the basic qualification requirements. If you meet basic qualifications you will be placed in one of three quality categories, 'Best-Qualified', 'Well-Qualified', or 'Qualified' based on your answers to the on-line occupational questions.
