As a Chemist, in the Division of Biochemical Toxicology, National Center for Toxicological Research, you will assist in the development and validation of analytical methods for contaminants, adulterants, additives, and potencies for FDA regulated products.

Adapts and modifies methods and procedures for inhalation toxicology qualitative/quantitative studies.
Conducts chemical/biochemical assays utilizing techniques such as gas chromatography, high pressure liquid chromatography, and wet chemical procedures.
Collects, interprets, and evaluates scientific data for inhalation toxicology studies.
Provides guidance to other employees on laboratory procedures and techniques.
Prepares material on study findings for inclusion in sections of scientific papers.
