This position is located in the Ronald Reagan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave N.W., Washington, DC in the Bureau for Asia, Strategic Planning Office (ASIA/SPO).

You will administer the formulation and justification of the Operating Expense budget for the Asia Bureau and its subsidiary missions.  Serve as the technical authority on budget formulation for a major component of the Agency.  Initiate and formulate the bureau operating expense policies, budgets and serves as a financial management advisor for the operational aspects of the bureau’s missions.  Serve as a technical expert on the most challenging operational expense reforms, strategic planning of budget requirements and formulates budgeting alternatives.  

You will provide expert analysis and advice on agency-wide budgeting guidance and assesses impact on the financial condition of the bureau and its subsidiary missions.  Originate and establish criteria for budget submissions and the adherence of Agency guidelines and policies for administering the operating expense budget of the Asia bureau and its subsidiary missions.
