Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise as a Supervisor II, Power Plant Maintenance. Serve as a supervisor for hydroelectric power plants, as well as overseeing operation and maintenance of water storage facilities.

Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval. 

Duties

-Possesses extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of storage dams, hydroelectric power plants, and associated facilities and equipment

-Effectively communicates with management, peers, subordinates, water and power customer representatives, contractors, state and other Federal agency representatives, and members of the public

-Supervises a diverse group of bargaining board craftspeople are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance

-Plans and schedules routine and corrective maintenance and non-routine work activities such that the assigned facilities safely and reliably provide their respective authorized benefits and in a manner that ensures personnel safety

-Manages all field work pertaining to facility operations and maintenance program accomplishments.

-Organizing, conducting, and documenting all phases of North American Electricity Reliability Corporation and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC/WECC)related work.
