About the Position:
This Vacancy is with Directorate of Infrastructure Operations at Corpus Christi Army Depot.This job provides the opportunity to support the mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot; which is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. The Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Armys Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance and is the worlds largest helicopters overhaul and repair facility. CCAD serves as the depot training base for active duty Army, National Guard, Reserve and foreign military personnel. We also provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support. Positions include those providing support to the maintenance of helicopters in a variety of shops or in an office setting.

You will perform alignments and mechanical repairs on complex systems, equipment and machinery including but not limited to flow benches, test stands, heat treat units, engine test cells, welding machines, ventilation blowers, electronic beam welders, laboratory test equipment, spot welders, ASTORS, autoclaves, computer controlled conveyors and other systems and equipment of similar complexity. Capable in reading blueprints or technical manuals, disassemble equipment and utilizing precision instruments. Perform multi-craft duties requiring knowledge and skills of allied trades such as electronic mechanic, pipefitting, air conditioning mechanics, carpenter, painter and electrician at intermediate or lower level. Perform water-brake and strain gage repair, maintenance and overhaul. Replace defective parts, reworks or machines parts to restore equipment to serviceable condition.
