Job Overview


Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis" only. Incumbent will be paid only for the hours worked. The annual salary listed above, is based on a full time schedule, equaling to an hourly salary range of $14.59 - $18.97 per hour  

This position will NOT lead to a full-time position.  

Travel is required to various testing sites. Personally owned vehicles must be used to travel to the testing sites. Travel reimbursement is authorized.  

Intermittent employees are NOT eligible for benefits. Relocation expenses will NOT be paid.

Who May Apply: US Citizens


Administers written tests in the local commuting area of this announcement and up to a 100 miles radius when necessary, using own vehicle to transport test material. Maintains security and inventory of test materials. Must reside within the local commuting area or travel to the commuting area at own expense. Requires early morning travel and extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Some work may be performed from your residence prior to arriving at the test site. Must be able to carry 1 to 5 cases of test materials each weighing an average of 10 to 35 pounds to and from examination locations.
