This is a TERM appointment not to exceed (NTE) one year with the possibility of an extension for up to a total of four years.
This position is located in the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Trust Services, Acquisition Center.
Location and Salary Information: First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
GS-05 $31,315 - $40,706 per annum. GS-06 $34,907 - $45,376 per annum. GS-07 $38,790 - $50,431 per annum.
GS-05 $33,181 - $43,131 per annum. GS-06 $36,986 - $40,079 per annum. GS-07 $41,101 - $53,435 per annum.
The position has a full performance level of GS-07.
Relocations expenses will not be paid.
DRIVING RECORD REQUIREMENT: The incumbent is required to operate a government-owned or leased motor vehicle, in the performance of duties, therefore, a valid drivers license is required. The incumbent must have a safe driving record within the three-year period immediately preceding submittal of GSA Form 3607 and be able to meet the safe driving requirements of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

As experience is gained, the selectee(s) will perform a broader range of assignments under less supervision. At the full performance level of GS-07, the major duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Serve as an assistant to the Realty Specialists assuming a variety of technical and administrative duties
· Communicate with beneficiaries/lessees/other land owners and interested parties about the process options, documentation, and other needs that may be associated with conveyance activities.
· Accept requests for conveyance-associated activity
· Work with automated systems to verify ownership and monitor activity.
