About the Position: This job provides the opportunity to support the mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot; which is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. The Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Armys Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance and is the worlds largest helicopters overhaul and repair facility. CCAD serves as the depot training base for active duty Army, National Guard, Reserve and foreign military personnel. We also provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support. Positions include those providing support to the maintenance of helicopters in a variety of shops or in an office setting.

Serve as a Supervisor over an area which repairs, modifies, overhauls, reassembles, tests and troubleshoots aircraft transmissions by dissembling items designated for minor repair, reworking or replacing parts required, and conducting performance and endurance tests of transmissions in test cells. Establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences. Plans assignments based on schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level management. Assign work to the employees and provide technical direction and assistance to accomplish the work. Investigate work related problems such as cost, productivity, workload imbalance, and space to determine cause and implement corrective action. Review job descriptions for currency and accuracy to make necessary changes. Plan leave schedules and training needs for the subordinates. Review employees work performance, set performance standards and counsel employees regarding problems.
