This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Office of Compliance, Office of Unapproved Drugs and Labeling Compliance in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Major Duties:

Serves as the Branch Chief for the Division of Non Prescription Drugs & Health Fraud in the Office of Unapproved Drugs & Labeling Compliance (OUDLC).  Duties include but are not limited to:

Plans, manages, organizes and directs all the postmarketing operations, program segment(s), functions, activities of the Division;

Applies knowledge of administrative and program management principles and skills to carry out the mission of the Division;

Initiates decision-making processes and documents and participates fully in discussions and decisions concerning Office of Compliance and Center plans, programs and activities;

Develops and implements Division policies and plans, makes critical decisions, and provide expert advice and counsel concerning approaches and options that are sound and feasible in relation to the Office of Compliance and Center goals and objectives;

Directs the preparation of analyses of the impact of proposed changes to Agency laws and regulations which affect the functions program segment(s), and activities of the Division.
