NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:  This is an excreted position that requires membership in a compatibility assignment in the National Guard.  Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.  Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

AREA II:  All Members of the NJARNG

 

If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS:  Employment in this position requires concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

 

MUST HAVE BR: 42B or 42H

Duties

The following list of duties is not conclusive but provides a brief snapshot of the duties that may be required for this position:  A copy of the complete position description is available in the Human Resource Office.

 

DUTIES: Provides comprehensive human resources management advidsory and technical services for assigned organizations.  Serves as the state's principal advisor and consultant to key management and employees on the full range of employee benefits.  Administers and provides advice on performance mangement systems, the incentive awards and suggestion programs.  Program Manager fort the Incentive Awards Program.  Responsible for overseeing and directing the counseling of management, employees, reitrees and family members on a wide range of benefit programs such as CSRS/FERS retirement, Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), TSP and FECA.
