This position is located in Department for Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Office of Management (OM), Division of Program Services, Building Operations Staff in Rockville, Maryland.


This announcement may be used to fill multiple positions in multiple locations.


Major Duties:

* Responsible for issuing PIV cards for new CBER employees. This includes problems that may arise with the PIV card.

* Triage any emergency issues on the campus. Responsible for informing all parties dealing with the emergency, securing funding if needed to replace any scientific equipment due to the emergency. Makes recommendation to supervisor for course of action, communicates plan of action with all parties.  

* Works with the scientific staff on any issues or problems concerning the labs, scientific equipment, autoclave, cold rooms, liquid nitrogen, and ice machines.

* Responsible for acquisition's up to $15,000. This includes preparing and submitting the requisition package. Review and evaluate proposals from contractors for delivery services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts.
