Under the direction of the Director of Hospitality, responsible for the robust development and growth of the Presidio Trusts hospitality-related programs including the Presidio Trusts Fort Scott National Center for Service and Innovative Leadership (NCSIL) - lodging, event venue rentals, conference programs and managed food service. Consistently maintain a mission based approach to working within the Presidio, balancing revenue generation with the Trusts commitment to preserve and enhance the Presidios resources; maintain the highest level of integrity in our hospitality program operations; work with the Fort Scott (NSCIL) staff in the development of lodging and conference services to support the Fort Scott (NSCIL) effort; develop a business plan and budget for Fort Scott hospitality program; assist Director of Hospitality with division budget forecasting, tracking expenditures, managing procurement and requests for Fort Scott and other Trust hospitality program endeavors; in collaboration with the Director of Hospitality and Director of External Affairs, develop and promote a Presidio Trust hospitality brand recognized for excellence; bring together tenants involved in hospitality-related business to create and maintain the highest standards and to coordinate promotion of the Presidio as a location known for great hospitality; develop hospitality-related plans and proposals for review by the Director of Hospitality for presentation to the Trusts Executive Management Team and Board of Directors. This is a three year term position with full benefits.
Requires bachelors degree and 5 years relevant professional experience or similar combination of education and work experience in full service event/conference or relevant operations. Experience in food and beverage, meetings/banquets, and hotel operations preferred. Progressive success in sales, marketing and business growth strongly preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid California drivers license. Satisfactory results from a background investigation for employment are required. Incumbent required to completion of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
