This position is located in the DHS/U.S. Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, Base Kodiak, Facilities Engineering Division, Maintenance Branch, Kodiak, AK
Incumbent serves as the Procurement Technician to the Base Operating
and Support Services (BOSS) Contracting Officer.
Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignments include:
*entering and processing all contractual documents relating to contract
administration functions on the multi-million dollar contract.
*receiving and distributing correspondence;
*establishes and maintains BOSS contract and invoice files;
*processing invoices for payment;
* conducting inspections on janitorial services and the timely submittal
of reports as primary Contracting Officer's Technical Representative
(COTR) for those contract performance areas, and reviews invoices on
the assigned contracts;
*preparing routine procurement and project reports; performing contract closeouts; and maintaining the Facilities Maintenance Branch (FMB) reference library; performing a variety of tasks for FMB personnel such as typing correspondence, document
reproduction and scanning, and assisting FMB personnel with processing of travel orders and claims; and processes purchase requests, maintains ledgers, and reconcile actions for BOSS contract and other FMB accounts.
