This position is located in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Division of Respiratory Disease Studies (DRDS), Morgantown, WV.

The incumbent participates in data management and analysis of technical information for Team and Section activities from a variety of sources. Works closely with Branch members to obtain ideas and suggestions to develop and/or improve the efficiency of information transfer and to improve dissemination methods for epidemiologic analyses of surveillance and investigation data. Responds to requests for surveillance information from both internal and external sources. Uses a combination of computer graphics and text to creat and produce tables, charts, graphs, illustrations, and publication layouts as well as custom-produced material. Uses knowledge of appropriate software related to the preparation of printed material, e.g. through the use of text processing, desktop publishing, graphics production, etc. to effectively produce camera-ready copy and web-ready documents. Perform other duties as assigned.
