The incumbent serves as the Program Support Assistant in DCHA/PPM. The incumbent will provide office communications for the office support staff. Maintain automated systems to track office work products and provide office automation advice, guidance and assistance to staff. Receives and reviews documents, reports, and enter pertinent information into an automated system. Performs basic analysis of data and generates a variety of reports.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • May require completion of a 1-year probationary period.

The incumbent serves as the Program Support Assistant in DCHA/PPM organization. The incumbent will be responsible for controlling the supervisor’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments without prior approval;utilizes the  Agency’s Web-based Time & Attendance System (Webta) to input T&A;troubleshoot system software and communication problems;serves as the primary travel coordinator for PPM staff using the E-2 system, and user support to division on the system;receives and reviews documents, reports, and enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system and independently completes special research requests.

GS-7-You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-6 level. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.  Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: Experience overseeing the supervisor calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments;experience with E2 and WebTA;experience troubleshooting system software and communications problems. GS-8-You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-7 level. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.  Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: Extensive experience overseeing the supervisor calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments and extensive experience with E2 and WebTA; extensive experience troubleshooting system software and communications problems.


Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date.  This means that you must have served at least 52 weeks at the next grade level (or equivalent) below the grade advertised on this vacancy announcement.
