TO QUALIFY YOU MUST MEET BOTH BASIC REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
A. Degree: physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics.

B. Combination of education and experience -- course work equivalent to a major as shown in A above, including at least 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Pay Band ZP-III ($62,467.00 - $97,333.00):
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the ZP-II (GS-09 equivalent) level. Specialized experience is defined as experience analyzing polymeric materials using spectroscopic, microscopic, electrical, physico-mechanical, and scattering techniques.
Master's or equivalent graduate degree, education must provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.

You must provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation with a course by course listing along with your application. Failure to provide such documentation when requested will result in lost consideration.
