This position is located in the Engineering Laboratory's Materials and Structural Systems Division, Polymeric Materials Group.
The individual selected for this position will design experiments involving polymeric materials used in photovoltaic applications; characterize materials before, during, and after exposure to temperature, moisture, and UV radiation using spectroscopic, microscopic, electrical, physico-mechanical, and scattering techniques; develop novel method(s) for non-destructive evaluation of photovoltaic cells and modules before, during, and after exposure to temperature, moisture, and UV radiation.
