This is a Developmental Position:  This position will be filled at the GG-09 level with promotion potential to the GG-12 level.  The individual selected for this position may be promoted to the target level without further competition upon meeting any legal and regulatory requirements.

This is a GG-09 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS).  The GG-09 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-09 level.  The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

Duties

MAJOR DUTIES for MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GG-0343-09

·        Researches, develops, defines, and implements new processes for managing, reporting, and tracking Directorate information regarding personnel, training and travel

·        Ensures that Directorate programs involving civilian personnel actions, travel are in consonance with direction provided from NASIC, AF ISR Agency and higher headquarters

·        Keeps SC management informed of changes in manpower, organizational policies, and procedures

·        Prepares civilian personnel actions required to process personnel transactions to ensure proper utilization of manpower resources

·        Prepares civilian personnel actions required to process personnel transactions.  Manages training budget and the submission of appropriate documentation through Education/Training Management System (ETMS) to ensure proper course registration, scheduling and attendance

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
