Location: This position is within the Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) in Fredericksburg, VA.

Competitive Merit Promotion
*Transfer or Reinstatement eligibles: current Federal or former employees with career or career-conditional appointments in the competitive service that hold, or have held a career or career-conditional position at a lower grade level as the position being announced. - Provides a wide range of analysis in assessing and improving program effectiveness and improvement of complex program management and acquisition projects and programs to VA and other Federal Government organizations.
- Utilizes knowledge of agency acquisition program goals, objectives, and methods and recommends course of action with regard to pre and post award processes, to include scheduling and material support.
- Makes decisions and recommendations which require extensive consideration of undefined issues and problems, through utilization of Integrated Data Environment or Product Data Management software.
- Serves as subject matter expert and performs procurement planning, development, design, and overall direction of programmatic efforts.
