Among other things, the CDFI Fund provides grants, loans, deposits, equity investments, technical assistance, and tax credits to organizations engaged in community development finance. In addition, the Fund administers the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program and is responsible for certifying entities as CDEs for that program.
