Duties

This Management and Program Analyst position is located within the Resource Management Section, Human Capital and Resource Management Branch, Business Management Office (BMO), Office of Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service (OLE/FAMS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected you will serve as the Team Lead  responsible for identifying  and proposing solutions to issues and problems arising within the complex financial and staffing systems maintained by the BMO. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Selecting and applying appropriate Program Office, Agency and Department directives, policies and plans, in measuring, evaluating and providing recommendations for system and process improvement.
  • Establishing and sustaining effective communications and interpersonal working relationships with staff, senior level officials within DHS, TSA and OLE/FAMS.
  • Managing the evaluation and implementation of system and process changes and advising Senior Leadership and peers on proper methods for execution.
  • Planning, coordinating, supporting and participating in high-level meetings within the Program Office, Agency or Organization
