About the Position:
This job provides the opportunity to support the mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot; which is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. The Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance and is the world's largest helicopters overhaul and repair facility. CCAD serves as the depot training base for active duty Army, National Guard, Reserve and foreign military personnel. We also provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support. Positions include those providing support to the maintenance of helicopters in a variety of shops or in an office setting.

Duties

You will serve as a Supervisor over the Tubing Branch. You will be responsible for planning and directing work operations and exercising administrative authorities. The nature of the overall work covers fabricating, repairing, and testing rigid and flexible tubing and hoses, and wire cables. Tubing and hoses are used in aircraft hydraulic, fuel, oxygen, and oil systems, in seats, frames, or accessories, that use metal tubing, and plant support machinery and equipment. Plan use of subordinate workers’ equipment, facilities, and materials; establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plan work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies. Plan and establish overall leave schedules, counsel employees on performance, set performance standards, and make formal appraisals of subordinates’ work performance. Initiate proposals for formal and disciplinary action as needed. Maintain production reports and records. Control all property for the unit supervised, serving as the hand receipt holder.
