This position is located in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Foods, (OF), Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Office of New Animal Drug Evaluation (ONADE), Rockville, Maryland.

Duties

Evaluate the chemistry, manufacturing and control information in an application to determine whether it will possess and maintain appropriate chemical quality attributes throughout its marketed shelf-life.   

Serve as a resource in one or more specialized areas relating to chemistry, manufacturing and control. 

Conduct scientific reviews of New Animal Drug Applications, Master Files, Investigational New Animal Drug Applications, and other post approval documents for technical information supporting the chemistry manufacture and control of an animal drug product. 

 

Prepare comprehensive written plain language evaluations and conclusions for each application and makes a determination as to whether or not a submission has scientific validity.
