RELOCATION EXPENSES: Relocation expenses are not authorized.

 

The employee in this position serves as a Maintenance Worker at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge, located in Vian, Oklahoma. The employee will assist with the hog and pest plant control programs.

 

NOTE: This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 1 year, but may be extended up to 2 years at managment's discretion.

Duties

·          Assist in pest plant control program by controlling exotic/nuisance vegetation using various techniques.

 

·          Operate and service gasoline and diesel vehicles such as cars, trucks, lawn mowers or tractors.

 

·          Assist in installing outdoor water control structures and clearing clogged pipes and sewer lines.

 

·          Renovate building interiors by replacing worn fixtures, removing and replacing broken windows and worn roofs, and repair and install drywall, cabinets, tile, vinyl and baseboards.
