The Office of Justice Services (OJS), within the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), is searching for individuals to serve as a Law Enforcement Assistant (OA) for the Division of Law Enforcement Services. The individual selected for these positions will be working for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services, Division of Law Enforcement Services at one of the following locations:
Wind River Agency in Fort Washakie, WY - 1 position available (Adult Detention)
Northern Cheyenne Agency in Lame Deer, MT 1 position available (Adult Detention)
Northern Cheyenne Agency in Busby, MT 1 position available (Youth Services)
Crow Agency in Crow Agency, MT 1 position available (Adult Detention)
Blackfeet Agency in Browning, MT 1 position available (Adult Detention)
Spokane Agency in Wellpinit, WA - 1 position available (Adult Detention)
Salary Information: GS-5: $31,315 - $40,706; GS-6: $34,907 - $45,376 per annum; GS-7: $38,790 - $50,431 per annum; GS-8: $42,960 - $55,844 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
The position has a full performance level of GL-8.
