This position is located in the Office of Commissioner (OC), Office of  External Affairs (OEA), Office of Health and Constituent Affairs (OHCA) in Silver Spring, MD.

Duties

Major Duties:
The program analyst conducts studies, data collection and analysts in support of FDA’s senior staff. The purpose of the studies, data collection and analysis is to identify and recommend solutions to engage external stakeholders more effectively.

The analyst gathers and organizes narrative and statistical information using established methods, techniques, or precedents, such as questionnaires, interviews, review of computer data, and comparison of past, present, and related program functions.  Programs are reviewed and studied to identify opportunities to effectively engage stakeholder through multiple communication vehicles. 

Assignments may involve the independent study of professional organizations, healthcare/patient. Evaluates data systems, the degree to which the systems enhance the mission of the organization, and what modifications might be appropriate; participates in structuring a new project to support office operations.
