This position is located in the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), DCMA Operations Directorate, Central Regional Command, Duty Location: Bloomington, MN

Duties

Major Duties:

 

  • Provides technical support to a multi-functional opertaions team, group or tertiary command, with responsibility for monitoring contractor's production scheudles and recommending corrective action to be taken involving discrepancies and/or delinquencies.
  • Reviews contracts and input data into an automated procurement database.
  • Reviews production contracts and determines mission responsibility relative to the contract's requirements/provisions. These requirements relate to delivery schedules, product and tooling design, work measurement standards, reliability and maintainability of manufacturing processes, configuration management, testing, Cost/Schedule Control systems, customer priority lists, accelerate/expedite requests, special requestes, and Memorandums of Agreements.
  • Identifies contract clauses, special provisions, attachments and addenda such as special tests, First Article requirements, progress payment clauses, Letters of Delegation, and support delegations within supply, service and overhaul/maintenance contracts.
  • Tracks production and delivery progress to identify adverse trends, significance of data under performance indicators and adjust plan of surveillance accordingly.
  • Studies contractor furnished progress data using spreadsheets and database software.
  • Coordinates contractual actions with other functional specialists, contractor, or procurement command personnel.
