This Information Technology Specialist position is located in the Technology Solutions Division, Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  If selected for this position, you will serve as a member of the software engineering team designing, developing, and testing complex mission critical systems using technologies such as:  Object Oriented Design, J2EE web development, DHTML, JavaScript, DOM, CSS, and AJAX/Dojo. Typical assignments include:

  • Designing and developing J2EE components.
  • Performing unit and integration testing as needed.
  • Performing code maintenance based on problem reports and production issues.
  • Preparing documentation of software design and code.
  • Participating in on-call rotation to support the production system.
