This position is located in the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), Office of Extramural Research (OER), Office of Extramural Programs (OEP), Division of Biomedical Research Workforce (DBRW).
As a Health Science Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Office of Extramural Research (OER) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) staff to create appropriate metrics to effectively analyze and organize aspects of NIH extramural science programs and policies, and evaluate and portray NIH performance. Some other responsibilities may include:
. Researching and analyzing complex scientific information.
. Developing responses to both internal and external inquiries based on information available in the NIH IMPACII or other sources.
. Collaborating with a variety of NIH Institute and Center (IC) staff, scientists, and program directors on trans-NIH objectives such as the evaluation of research training programs.
. Organizing, planning and scheduling individual tasks and complex projects to accomplish milestones and preparing deliverables in a timely manner.
