This position is located in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Office of the Director, Washington, DC.

Duties

The incumbent assists the Director and staff with planning, coordinating and executing the administrative and management duties and responsibilities of the office.  Develops strategies and methods to improve office operations and serves as liaison to the Institute's administrative staff for extensive organizational requirements.  Provides administrative support on a wide variety of actions and problems.  Assists in the preparation, review and coordination of information, decision documents, special reports and other programmatic activities.  Maintains and monitors project tracking and reporting systems in order to develop status reports and response materials for senior management attention, review and signature.  Coordinates schedules, agendas, conference support and action items for key groups.  Performs other duties as assigned.
