This announcement is issued under the direct-hire authority to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need.  Selectee(s) will receive a career or career-conditional appointment in the competitive service and may be required to serve a one year probationary period.

Duties

Major duties at the full performance level include, but are not limited to:
• Integrate security programs across disciplines, defining the scope and level of detail for security plans and policies applicable to the security program.
• Review systems, networks, and software designs to identify and evaluate system vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
• Analyze cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminate warning information, and coordinate incident response activities.
• Oversee the design and development of cyber exercises, training materials, and training requirements.
• Develop and maintain operational planning manuals, guides, and templates.
