As an Interdisciplinary Scientist within Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN), Office of Food Defense, Communication and Emergency Response, Risk Assessment Coordination Team, you will serve as a member of a team that conducts risk assessment activities related to microbiological agents, toxins, and chemicals in foods.

Duties

·        Participates in food-safety risk assessments and related research through workgroups and related projects.

·        Leads workgroups and task forces to develop, implement, and review food-safety risk assessment activities and related research plans, ensuring that they meet FDA regulatory needs.

·        Performs the full scope of project management work related to food-safety risk assessment activities.

·        Serves as a technical advisor on interagency committees, task forces, and deliberations concerning the coordination of CFSAN's risk analysis and related activities.
